Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in Albany will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in New York usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 AMโ€“3 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is tacolibreny.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Albany is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Albany is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

While the food is not gross, it was close. I got a car itas burrito that from the start I could barely hold because of how greasy it was. The tortilla was shimmering and it looked like it had been dipped in oil. I knew it was going to be a disaster from the start because of a huge split in the side. Sure enough, one bite and the whole burrito disinterested in my hands. The flavor left a lot to be desired. I have British food that was better seasoned than this. And on top of these issues, you do not get enough food for what you are paying for. No protein comes included, everything is an upcharge and even after adding protein, the burrito is still 90% rice and lettuce. I ordered a bag of chips ($3 for a small bag) and the menu had pricing for extra crema and pico. Turns out extra means any at all as none came with the chips. The only redeeming part was they are one of the few places I've seen that stock passion fruit Jarritos. I will not be coming back.

I got a steak taco bowl and the majority of the small portion of steak is fat!! The rice is either old or undercooked mixed in with โ€œokโ€ at best. Today is/was my last time and Iโ€™ll be rerouting every body I know down here at Empire Plaza
